# Pitcairn men enjoy their freedom ahead of verdicts.

On a grassy slope on the edge of the world generations of Pitcairners lie buried in haphazard rows. Some have crumbling monuments to men long dead, but the names still make women on the Pacific island shudder.

# Pitcairn sex trials near dramatic end.

Prosecutors Thursday said they were pleased a video link that allowed alleged victims of sex abuse to testify from a room in Auckland, New Zealand, had worked, allowing the trials to be completed quickly. They had been slated to last up to six weeks, but have been completed in three.

# Pitcairn court considers sex verdicts.

A Pitcairn Island court hearing under-age sex and rape charges against descendants of the 18th century Bounty mutineers has adjourned and will hand down verdicts on Monday.
