# From Mike Warren (via Dennis) comes photos of the damaged longboat 'Tub' being hauled aboard the Gambler for transporation to New Zealand for repairs. 'Tub' suffered several dents including one large hole and two smaller ones during the accident. According to Mike's email, Steve and Randy made excellent work in repairing the holes so that the boat could be towed out to the Gambler.

Dennis Stephens sent me a note saying Darralyn is progressing well. She is on IV antibiotics and infection is under control. There is a plan for a nerve graft to bridge the gap of approximately 7cm. She is likely to remain in hospital for ten days to two weeks before a new plan will be implemented after evaluation. Darralyn is in very good spirits.
