Want to help Pitcairn?

# Recently there was an accident on Pitcairn Island which left Islander Darralyn Griffiths injured. She had to be evacuated from the Island for emergency treatment.
Darralyn and Turi are newlyweds and have recently bought their own home on Pitcairn. They face payments for this home and unforunately their income is limited while going through the long recovery process due to the accident. They also face the prospect of having to pay for the Medic Air transport from Mangareva to Tahiti.
To help them through this difficult period, a number of people including those involved with the Friends of Pitcairn group, Dennis Stephens' Bounty Scribe email newsletters, and others, are making a call for donations to help them out. If you feel you could contribute a few dollars to gift to Darralyn I'm sure this would help her and Turi immensely and relieve some of the stress they must be feeling at this point in their lives.

# Expectant mum refuses to leave Pitcairn.
Pitcairn governors want a pregnant mother to leave the island because of the risks of giving birth in such an isolated community.
