# There has been a new arrest in regards to the Pitcairn rape allegations. It has been known for awhile that a new trial would start for allegations against a number of people who no longer live on Pitcairn. It looks like actions against these people have started. From correspondence sent to Dennis (names removed by me):
As of yesterday Thursday 6th January at 6.30pm 5 Australian Federal Police came to the house and arrested [...name withheld...] son of [...names witheld...].

So 5 Federal Police hand cuffed [...name withheld...] and placed him in the car and went to Newcastle Police station. [...name withheld...] stayed at the station in a cell finger printed and photo taken. He now has to go to Court this morning Friday 7th January to see if he can get bail.Previous reports have stated that trials would be held for men living in Australia and New Zealand so it is possible that other arrests or action may be taking place. I've not seen any mention in the standard media regarding this yet.
