# Pitcairn sexcase Kiwi is pardoned.
The Sunday Star-Times understands he has received more than $100,000 from the British government after evidence was produced by his lawyer Murray Gibson that authorities knew the prosecution should not have gone ahead because the age of consent under local law was 15.
Gibson said authorities were using Quinn's as an experimental prosecution before charging 13 Pitcairn men with historic sex crimes ranging from indecent assault to multiple rapes.
