# The New Zealand Corrections Department is recruiting prison officers for Pitcairn Island:
...seven prison officers - funded by the British Government - will be sent to Pitcairn Island, on a three to four month rotation, to guard them.

The cost of bringing justice to remote Pitcairn Island has already topped $14 million, and there are several sex crime hearings still to go.
