My name is Chris Double. I'm a programmer living in Auckland, New Zealand. I work for the Mozilla Foundation on the Firefox web browser. I have a web page with my various interests and a weblog detailing various recent activities, mostly related to programming.
My interest in Pitcairn came from an early age. My mothers mother was born on Pitcairn. Her name was Elvina Imogen Coffin. She died in 1976 when I was about 6 years old. Pitcairn and Bounty information was often discussed by my Mum, aunts and uncles so I've followed Pitcairn related things for a while. A picture of Elvina is here.
With the recent trial, and upon joining the Friends of Pitcairn email group, I saw lots of news articles and information about Pitcairn coming up so I decided to publish this weblog to provide a central point to collect news and information about the Island.
